We have been working on our swimming for the last few weeks (with a few more weeks of work to go!). Josh has sure been working hard and has made a lot of progress -going from the kid who didn't like to go under 6 weeks ago to swimming a foot or so on his own :)

That is the way to train them!
My favorite quote from Joshua this week was

This last week we (which really means everyone but me) started working on turning our backyard of dirt into something, that well- isn't dirt. David's parents drove into town to oversee the project and as you can see all the Water's men have been hard at work! All I keep thinking this week is that I am so lucky to have a husband who is so handy (how does he know how to do all of this stuff anyway?!) and even luckier to have in-laws willing to dedicate all their time and energy!
The Big 3!!!!
A few weeks ago Joshua celebrated the big THREE! Somehow his favorite part was his McQueen cake. And now everytime we walk to the mailbox he thinks there is some fabulous new toy in there for him. I think he'll be quite bummed out to find that he has over 350 days until this fabulous event happens again!
