Soccer

Josh started soccer a few weeks ago through a church that isn't too far from the house. It has been hysterical to watch. Josh is totally the kid in la-la land but he has a great time. We are really impressed with the league- it is one of the coolest ministries that we have seen.

In the meantime we are adjusting to life with practices, games, and practice and game uniforms to wash! Kayla has taken quite an interest in soccer too- I have video of her kicking around the ball but I can't get it to post on here. Keeping her off the field is quite the workout too!

We got to get away and spend the last 3 weeks up at our family cabin in Idaho. We all had a blast and really enjoyed being able to spend time outside and loved the 50 degree weather difference! It was totally worth the 2700 miles.

I am sure that every Mom thinks her kids are the cutest things- so forgive me the moment of bragging and just look at how stinkin' cute my kids look all dressed up.  David's brother Brandon got married in SD last weekend- Congratulations Uncle Brandon and Aunt Jaime!

Queens or Princesses?

Joshua declared "she's queen of the mountain"  and then later dressed me up as a pretty pretty princess for Mother's day.  So I am wondering if our roles have reversed (Kayla is the Queen and I am the Princess).  I figure this wouldn't be such a bad deal if K was just old enough to mop the floor!

Where did winter go?

We have been having some unseasonably warm weather this week and are wondering where winter went? The whole family enjoyed a picnic in the backyard and a little sunbathing. Amazing to think that most of the country is freezing right now!

After Mom and Dad got a Wii for Christmas- Joshua has a new favorite activity. Wii bowling. He's not half bad either.
